It’s super possible that the members of the New York City Ballet corps de ballet will be dancing in denim come September. The company’s annual fall fashion gala, originally masterminded by OG tutu queen Sarah Jessica Parker in 2012, will feature the work of five different design teams, including recent LVMH Prize winners Marques’Almeida.

The event, on September 30, will comprise five short performances. For each one the institution has chosen a fashion force to create custom costumes. WWD reports that this year’s designers will be: Marques’Almeida‘s Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, Opening Ceremony‘s Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, Oscar de la Renta’s Peter Copping, Adeam’s Hanako Maeda, and Zuhair Murad.

OC founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon will work with Justin Peck, the 27-year-old NYCB dancer and choreographer who recently starred in the documentary Ballet 442. Three of the other pieces will also be created by young choreographers. The fifth is a revival of “Thou Swell,” a work by City Ballet director Peter Martins, which Peter Copping will costume.
