The last video in the series for Converse leaves no doubt about the iconic shoe's impact on current creatives.

It’s been almost 80 years since a basketball player named Charles H. Taylor invented one of the world’s most recognisable, versatile and well-loved sneakers. In their latest video-led campaign, Converse pay homage to the Chuck Taylor, and identify the shoe’s relevance across cultures and subcultures and its impact on a new generation.

The first in the series sees Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown exploring Chucks in Film, while the second — hosted by Vince Staples — looks at the shoe’s influence on LA culture and hip hop specifically. Finally, our favourite 22 year old Canadian model Winnie Harlow speaks to some of the most relevant and influential names in fashion about the role Chuck Taylors play in their lives and work.

Directed by award winning filmmaker Karim Huu Do, Forever Chuck: From the Runway to the Streets follows Winnie as she speaks to the Gucci Gang in Paris, who buy theirs in vintage stores and Sarah Andelman, the owner of Colette in Paris, a store which has long stocked the iconic runner. Winnie then travels to London where she visits musician Rejjie Snow and art collective Last Night in Paris who admit that when it comes to trainers, they “don’t play games.” If you too are serious about your footwear, you’ll definitely relate to the video.
