Young Thug is the latest rapper to join Puma’s Suede campaign, picking up where Rae Sremmurd — the previous stars — left off. The shoe in question, aptly called the Puma Suede, was born in 1968 so the imagery has been drenched in nostalgia. Kylie Jenner, another Puma face, was photographed in a tribute to NYC’s 70s subways.
Thug’s been given a similar treatment, accessorizing velour tracksuits with boomboxes, vintage bikes, and vinyl. The tight-fitting tracksuits work perfectly on Thug, given his penchant for slim fits, kids clothing, and genderless dressing. Though we’re not sure what to call Thug at the moment, given his possible name change, we’re certain Puma’s been killing it lately.
