After making her runway debut walking in Alexander Wang’s final show as creative director for Balenciaga, actress-slash-musicianZoë Kravitz has nabbed a spot in spring/summer 16’s campaign. Lenny n’ Lisa’s daughter appears alongside German model and fellow longtime Wang muse Anna Ewers in a seriously dreamy spread.
Photographed by Steven Klein and styled by Panos Yiapanis, the pair look as though they just rolled back to their stately home from the club as the sun rises (and after sweating through their party dresses). Kravitz and Ewers are collapsed-elegantly-over their couch, by their pool, or just in the middle of the floor. Basically, this is eternally better than any afterparty you’ve ever been invited to.
Back in 2010, Kravitz fronted one of Wang’s second ever T campaign (which was shot by Daniel Jackson and styled by i-D Fashion Director Alastair McKimm), so it’s cool to see the pair’s working relationship come full circle in such a beautiful way. Speaking of Ewers’ relationship with Wang, casting director Anita Bitton once noted “when a designer sees a model that he loves, you know, that designer-muse relationship is unbreakable.”
