Dior Homme has revealed A$AP Rocky and Larry Clark as the faces of its new fall/winter 16 campaign. Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche selected the legendary filmmaker and A$AP Mob rapper due to their free spirited and rebellious attitudes, describing them as “talents that inspire me,” and adding that, “they come from different universes.”
Clark was selected after being pinned to Van Assche’s mood board for the Dior collection featured in the campaign, shot by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo. As for A$AP Rocky, Van Assche says, “I really like his personal style and taste. He’s a real fashion lover. He feels like fashion really influences his own work, and he has strong opinions on that.” Also starring alongside Rocky and Clark in the campaign are French actor Rod Paradot and model Dylan Roques.
Not only a prolific name in music, A$AP Rocky also has a strong interest in the fashion world. The “Fashion Killa” has also just teamed up with J.W. Anderson for a new collection, dropping next week.
