Stranger Things fans, we’ve got good news. TV Linereports that Millie Bobby Brown will return as a series regular come 2017. “Sources confirm that the series’ breakout star, Millie Bobby Brown, will indeed be back as Eleven in season two,” the site writes.
Fans were left quite nervous about the fate of their favorite character when Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer gave an interview claiming Eleven’s return was “up in the air.” Thankfully, it looks like she hasn’t gone the same way as Barb.
In fact, Eleven might finally have a female friend to join her in the upcoming season. 14-year-old actress Sadie Sink has been cast in the new role of Max, “a tough and confident” girl whose “appearance, behavior, and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era.” Sounds like they would get along.
While we eagerly wait for the show to return, it doesn’t ever really feel like it’s completely gone: especially over Halloween, which brought out Elevens in droves. Hasley even paid tribute to the character. To shoutout the countless trick-or-treaters who dressed up as her character, Millie Instagrammed a giant collage of costumes, writing “you guys are killing me with your 011 costumes this Halloween.”
