After dropping absolute banger Impossible, from upcoming album Back to the Woods, just last week, Angel Haze has teased another track from the hotly-anticipated follow up to 2014’s Dirty Gold album. A new track called Babe Ruthless looks set to drop next Tuesday, after Haze tweeted, “BABE RUTHLESS AUGUST 11 #batterupmotherfuckers,” after an intense back and forth about gender identity with their [Haze identifies as agender and doesn’t use gendered pronouns, preferring they/their to be used instead of she/her or he/his] ride or die fans.
In a rapid-fire series of tweets, the rapper said, “angel haze is not a girl angel haze is not a boy angel haze doesn’t have to explain any single part of themselves to anyone”.
