Grammy Winning 90’s RnB queen Brandy is coming to Australia for the first time ever, and we reckon you’re excited, because we sure are. Start practising the lyrics to What About Us, and the choreography ofAphrodisiac now. It wouldn’t hurt if you and your best mate worked on the harmonies of The Boy is Mine either.
Brandy came on the scene in 1994 when she was only 15, a princess among RnB royals of the time-think Toni Braxton, Aaliyah and Destiny’s Child. Two years later, she went with her then-boyfriend Kobe Bryant to his prom. Bonus fun fact, Brandy’s brother is Ray J of Kim Kardashian: Superstar fame, so she and Kimmy used to hang a lot back in the day.
We haven’t seen Brandy in a while, but to be fair, she’s had a daughter and been living (presumably) large in between leading Broadway musicals. So it’s cool. She’s playing three shows here. Click your city for tickets.
