A tale of unrequited love and musical collaborations, the story of Aubrey Drake Graham and Robyn Rihanna Fenty will be forever etched in hip hop’s illustrious hall of fame. They met in 2009, when he was bright kid from a good family and she was a good girl gone very, very bad. Cool enough to be known only by their middle names, it was as if the matching of AubRih had been written in the stars. After a brief period of hook ups and heartbreak, all chronicled in the opener for Drake’s “Fireworks,” in 2010 they reunited again on the now classic hit “What’s My Name?”the video for which featured the pair getting up close and personal in a New York grocery store. Two years later came the video for “Take Care,” which once again saw R&B’s equivalent to Romeo and Juliet (minus the beef, supersize the bling) lovingly embraced.

Fast-forward to 2016 and Bad Gal Riri and Champagne Papi have not only elongated their names, they’ve also come together on a spanking new track called “Work.” The other day, fans flocked to LA’s Eagle Rock Plaza mall, where they stumbled upon their favorite couple hard at work making a new music video. By the looks of photos and footage that have recently surfaced on the internet, it might also feature a couple of horses and a collection of cars all in the luxurious Louis Vuitton logo, because, well, why not?

Elsewhere in Drake land, the King of the Hotline Bling has been back in the studio according to his Instagram. Shot by Theo Skudra, last night’s post shows Drizzy head down and in the zone. Could this mean Views From The 6 will be dropping soon? Will it arrive before Rihanna’s hotly anticipated Anti? Watch this space, there’s exciting things to come.
