Using his OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1 to premiere new music once again, Drake teased us with a track from his much-anticipated upcoming album, Views From The 6.
Firing his trademark playful shots at Jay-Z, Kanye and Meek Mill, “Summer Sixteen” continues the hip-hop game of tennis we’ve become so accustom to. “I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay/Now I got a house in LA/Now I got a bigger pool than Ye/and look man, Ye’s pool is nice/Mine’s just big is what I’m saying.” Not stopping there, Drake also pokes fun at Barack Obama: “Tell Obama that my verses are just like the whips that he in/They bulletproof.”
Stream the track on Apple Music or skip to the 34 minute mark on OVO Sound. The album is slated for release in April.
