She’s graced the pages of i-D (as both a model and writer), taken a turn in Jill Soloway’s Transparent, and walked for some of New York’s most creative upcoming designers including Eckhaus Latta, Vejas, and Adam Selman. And now the recently signed IMG model has made her Milan catwalk debut — at Gucci’s fall/winter 16 show this morning.
Hari had spent the day before the show taking over Gucci’s Snapchat account. Today, she walked out in a shock of a bright red cape, with matching hat, glasses, and trousers, her fingers dripping with jewelry. Hari’s inimitable off-beat cool makes her the perfect poster girl for Gucci’s new gender-rebellious style, which sees girls dressed like nerdy boys and boys like beautiful girls.
