Well, this is exciting! We’re off up north to host a night during the 2018 edition of Manchester’s 12 week club series, Warehouse Project. WHP x i-D presents: SOUNDS OF THE NEAR FUTURE will take place on Saturday 8 December at WHP’s cavernous Store Street venue — the former air-raid shelter deep beneath Piccadilly Station — for the very last time. We might be biased here, but we reckon our night has the best line-up of the whole lot.

With SOUNDS OF THE NEAR FUTURE, we’re celebrating the here and now of rap. G.O.O.D Music president Pusha T headlines, showing us nothing but love in the wake of DAYTONA. Holding him up are the best of the UK’s boundary-pushing rap scene; the brilliantly hectic slowthai, the force to be reckoned with that is Flohio, the grime turned bashment peddler AJ Tracey, the dream team that is Children of Zeus and the mosh pit-inducing drill duo Skengdo x AM. Then there’s the godlike presence of newly-returned New Jersey hip-hop producer Clams Casino, Frank Ocean collaborator and Plz Make It Ruins label boss Vegyn, bright young broadcaster Tiffany Calver, 1xtra presenter Kenny Allstar and Peckham DJ Martha.

Like that wasn’t already enough, there’ll also be sets all night long from Suspect, StripesIII, Martelo, Alexander Nut, Metrodome and Black Josh, Jetsss, Rich Reason and Now Wave DJs. It’s going to be seriously great. Tickets are available right here, right now. We’ll see you down the front!
