It’s week 2492408408409841 of lockdown and we’re guessing that you’re probably well and truly sick of Zoom calls right now. But wait, don’t put the duct tape back over your webcam just yet. Because Keanu Reeves has announced he will be auctioning off one-on-one Zoom calls with some lucky fans — and because it’s Keanu Reeves, it’s all for charity, naturally.

The fifteen-minute chat with everyone’s favourite actor and meme has an estimated “market value” of a cool $10,000, but bidding on the online auction, which is still open until Monday 22 June, is currently standing at $17,400 already. What can we say girlies, he’s in demand.

Entitled “15 Minutes of Fame with Keanu Reeves”, proceeds raised by the Zoom date will go towards Camp Rainbow Gold, an Idaho-based charity which supports children with cancer. “This is truly priceless!” the auction listing reads. “Now you have the chance to Zoom with him from home! Get your questions ready and spend 15-minutes with actor, director, producer and musician, Keanu Reeves.”

Honestly, we’re all in need of something good and pure in the world right now, so get bidding!
