Months into a global pandemic and social distancing, has many of us looking for new ways to fill our time, often being largely unimaginative and following the crowd by baking sourdough, online shopping and starting podcasts.

And it seems like things in the Kardashian-West household are no different. After spending the past couple of years studying law and advocating for commuted sentences for American prisoners, Kim is putting all her criminal justice know-how into a new podcast.

In a major deal with Spotify and in partnership with their Parcast Studios – famed for it’s true-crime content – the show will look at wrongful convictions in the American criminal justice system and will be hosted and produced by the reality star turned beauty mogul turned law student herself alongside TV producer Lori Rothschild Ansaldi.

But unlike the podcast your best-friend’s boyfriend has been making, the series actually seems like it will be worth listening to. According to The Wall Street Journal, Lori will be discussing with Kim the case of Kevin Keith who was given the death sentence in 1994 after being convicted of three murders, but had his sentence commuted in 2010 after new evidence raised some doubts. As someone who’s engaged significantly in the world of prison reform in recent years, it will be interesting to see what Kim brings to the case.

No release date has as yet been announced, but we’re eagerly awaiting the first installment. Wonder if it will be sponsored by Blueapron.com?
