People say that you should never work with your loved ones. Thank God Quinn Wilson and her girlfriend of two years, King Princess, did though! Quinn, who is Lizzo’s creative director, a filmmaker and responsible for the stunning promo visuals for RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2, joined forces with her honey to direct the incredibly sexy music video for “PAIN”. Calling on the likes of Stella Maxwell and Kilo Kish to whip and sit on KP, a year’s worth of lockdown brainstorming was brought to life in a video resembling the physical manifestation of heartbreak.
The couple — who have been isolating together throughout the pandemic — recently welcomed a sweet dog child called Raz into their lives. She is immensely proud of both of her parents. Obsessed with their pup and desperate for a quality soundtrack to help us make it through Valentine’s Day weekend, we asked KP and Quinn to make us a playlist.
So what’s their selection all about? “It’s about the love we have for each other and ourselves,” they say. “Our relationship in all of its complexities. It’s definitely not a perfect relationship. We piss each other off, we kiss and makeup, then piss each other off again. But we love each other, and I think our partnership is really special.”

Q: My first impression of KP was that she was funny and a cutie, but I could tell right away that she had a lil thing for me.
What does a typical day of lockdown look like in the Princess-Wilson household?
Q: KP plays her video games, and I work on becoming a famous director.
How, if at all, will you celebrate Valentine’s Day this weekend?
KP + Q: Every day is Valentine’s Day.
