Karl Lagerfeld has converted the Grand Palais into a café, a supermarket, even a full blown forest for his Chanel extravaganzas. But today, he transformed the Parisian space into an art deco inspired casino where his muse crew Kristen Stewart, Julianne Moore, and mother/daughter duo Vanessa Paradis and Lily-Rose Depp rolled the dice.
While models (including Kendall Jenner as the closing bride in a pantsuit) sported blunt black bobs, LiRo killed it in a sleek black strapless situation and diamond-encrusted star headband that we’re sure we’ll see popping up in the feeds of her social media mega fans.
Today’s couture show marked her modeling debut, which comes off the heels of her widely publicized appearance at a Chanel event in April. She’s since starred in an editorial lensed by friends, scored film roles alongside her dad and Natalie Portman, and thrown a delightfully dastardly sweet sixteen banger.
Here’s hoping Karl doubles down on Depp as a future Chanel campaign star; we’re all in for the teen’s ascent to the house’s style throne.
