Normal People’s Paul Mescal is drunk and lonely in this music video

Can I get pregnant by watching Connell in The Rolling Stones' new video?

Happy Friday! The sun is shining, the pubs are open and our lockdown horniness has been released unto the world. It’s the perfect set of circumstances for some new Paul Mescal thirst content.

And luckily for the world, the Irish actor, of Normal People and jewellery wearing fame, stars in the newly released Rolling Stones video for “Scarlet”. If you’re reading this and thinking, “The Rolling Stones? Didn’t know they were still alive,” then allow us to explain. The song itself is not new. In fact it was recorded back in 1974, and features Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page (WhatsApp your dad, he’ll be excited to explain who this is) on guitar, but it lay unheard for decades before being released last month.

To celebrate the big unveiling the band recorded a “socially distanced shoot” starring Paul, who runs riot around an eerily empty hotel in central London. Filmed in Claridge’s, the video features Paul dancing around in various states of undress, holding a white rose in his mouth and pulling some very Risky Business (again, WhatsApp your dad, he’ll explain) inspired dance moves. He also tells the camera: “Hey, Scarlet. I’m a little bit drunk. I’m very sorry. I love you.”

Yesterday the actor shared the video on Twitter with the caption, “Mum this is all a bit mad”. Cute! Watch the full thing here, the perfect start to a glorious heatwave weekend tbh:
