Raf’s fall/winter 15 outing for Christian Dior was miss prim and proper meets miss psychedelic in a collection that saw him pick up where his recent couture show left off and marked Simons’ best ready-to-wear collection since joining the house. Long line oversized coats and sharp cut, contrast colored collars were juxtaposed with thigh latex boots that gave this girl about town a sexy sensibility without being overt. Prints reminiscent of the 60s felt fresh, layered either in full looks or showcased on their own and completed with shadowed lids and side ponies, the collection was a masterclass in modern, youthful femininity.
