Sky Ferreira recently spoke to i-D about her eagerly-anticipated album, Masochism, telling us she’s “having more fun writing” this time around. The 23-year-old has also been busy cultivating a promising acting career with supporting roles in Elvis & Nixon, a historical comedy-drama starring Kevin Spacey and Michael Shannon, and The Trust, a crime thriller featuring Elijah Wood and Nicolas Cage. Both films are set for release in 2016.
Before then, she’ll be seen in The Green Inferno, a cannibal-themed horror film from Hostel director Eli Roth which opens in theaters on September 25. Ferreira plays Kaycee, the best friend of Lorrenza Izzo’s lead character Justine, and in this just-released clip, the pair share some candid words with one another before enjoying a heartfelt reconciliation.
