Susan Sarandon's attendance is the best thing that's ever happened to Burning Man.

Susan Sarandon is no stranger to partying. She’s invited A$AP Rocky to “blaze one” with her and told the Daily Beast “I’ve done Ayahuasca and I’ve done mushrooms and things like that.” In fact, when it comes to fabulous women, it’s hard to beat Susan. She once took David Bowie as her lover, and was good friends with Timothy Leary—the psychedelic activist affectionately known as the “godfather of LSD.”

When Timothy passed away back in 1996, Susan and a few other friends received some of his ashes—most were sent into space—but Susan kept hers on Earth. Over the weekend, she took her portion of his remains to Burning Man for a final farewell. As USA Today explained it: she placed Timothy’s ashes inside the festival’s namesake wooden man, before it was burned to the ground. Apparently Susan reckoned “he’d be so happy. I think he would have loved the chaos of Burning Man. He would have loved it.”
