Today, The Creators Project premieres an exclusive documentary that takes a peek behind the curtain of 100% Lost Cotton, the play Spike Jonze and Jonah Hill wrote and directed for Opening Ceremony’s spring/summer 15 collection.

The pair’s 30-minute, one-act play was staged at the Met last year and featured a star-studded cast including John Cameron Mitchell, Catherine Keener, Rashida Jones, Alia Shawkat, Dree Hemingway, Elle Fanning, Karlie Kloss and Bobby Cannavale. The story–fraught with love triangles, coming-of-age tales, and Drake sing-alongs–was set at Opening Ceremony headquarters in the days leading up to fashion week.

“Opening Ceremony has always been known for storytelling, so we were really excited to have Spike tell this really intimate story,” Humberto told i-D the night of the performance. “As we started to write it, the thing I thought was interesting was to have in the middle of Fashion Week this thing that is about fashion,” Spike told The Creator’s Project, “but also has moments that are very human where the models are vulnerable.”

Jonze is a longtime friend of the brand, having worked with Lim and Leon on a Where the Wild Things Are capsule collection back in 09 and serving as the inspiration for the pair’s fall/winter 15 mens and womenswear collections this past season.
