Just in time for the weekend, and in preparation for his set at AFROPUNK London tomorrow, Cakes Da Killa has dropped a brand new track, Up Out My Face, featuring the legendary electro filthmonger Peaches, and produced by Mykki Blanco collaborator Jeremiah Meece.
“This is a battle cry for anyone dealing with groupies in social settings who linger me for their own self gain; those wolves in sheep’s clothing who use deception to manipulate your heart,” Cakes says, summarising, “In short, thirsty people using my assumed clout for come ups should step off.” So definitely hit up his festival set, but don’t be mithering him for backstage wristbands, got it?
Cakes Da Killa’s debut album Hedonism is out 21 October.
