Christopher Kane is joining Marc Jacobs, Nicholas Kirkwood, Maison Goyard, Mackintosh and a beautiful butcher shop on the marvelous Mount Street in Mayfair starting today. The 32-year-old Scottish designer, who has backing from luxury group Kering, will open at numbers 6-7. Mount Street has undergone a revival in recent years after a polish up from the landowners, Grosvenor. The old building has been given a hyper modern, clean white interior to set off Kane’s clothes. The store will normally be open Monday – Saturday, but as an exception for London Fashion Week which begins tomorrow, it will be open on Sunday, February 22nd.
Kane will be showing his fall/winter 15 collection the following day, Monday the 23rd.
