The world has spiraled into turmoil upon discovering that Justin Bieber has deleted his Instagram account. The bold move came after a flood of abuse from fans surrounding his new relationship with Sofia Richie, Lionel Richie’s 17-year-old daughter, was posted in the comments of his account. In a further Instagram post, Bieber wrote “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”… and he wasn’t joking.
The drama was taken to the next level when Selena Gomez weighed in on the comments, sharing that she was not a fan of the PDA: “If you can’t handle the hate, then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol- It should be special between you two only,” she wrote in Bieber’s comments. “Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before anyone ever did.” This escalated into a fully blown comment row between Biebs and Gomez, during which Justin publicly accused Selena of cheating on him with “Zayn” (if screenshots are to be believed), and tragically ended with the death of his Instagram.
Looks like we’ll have to go back to the dark age methods of pulling pictures from magazines and IRL stalking. RIP @justinbieber 🙁
