Your sleepy-time session this week comes from from the soft embrace of London producer SG Lewis. The creator of smooth electronic soul, his productions are sophisticated, resulting in his debut single, Warm scoring a place on Annie Mac’s forthcoming AMP 2015 Compilation. Having recently announced his debut EP along with brand new track No Less,we’re more than pleased to welcome SG into the mix with one of the finest slumber sessions we’ve had for a while. Meandering through James Blake, Majid Jordan, Jai Paul and Bonobo, press play and drift away to the sound of SG Lewis.

The party’s still going strong, but you want to call it a night. What track do you pop on when everyone’s still raving and it’s time to go to sleep?
Kings of Tomorrow, Finally. End the party on a high with a classic. My friend also told me he cried to this on a dancefloor once, which I think is awesome.

Where do you go when the record ends and the lights come on?
Straight to Nabzys for a Mini-Mega meal. Nabzys is a glorious fried chicken joint in Liverpool that everyone seems to end up at after every night out.

After a hectic tour schedule, you finally get home, what track do you put on to kick back and relax?
A Tribe Called Quest Electric Relaxation. Does what it says on my tin. One of my favourite ATCQ songs for sure, plus it was released the year I was born.

Do you ever fall asleep to music, and if so what do you play?
Bon Iver, Re:Stacks. The track will either make you fall asleep, or cry. I’ll let you decide which one.

What’s the best dream you’ve ever had?
I once had a dream where I was a Super Saiyan, and was flying round with giant blonde hair firing Kamehameha’s from my hands at bad guys. I was genuinely gutted when I woke up.

Who is the last person you kissed goodnight?
Probably my dog Ollie tbh (sorry to disappoint). You can see him on my Instagram, he gets way more likes than I do.

You’ve caught each other’s eye across a crowded dancefloor. What do you play to ensure things move from the box to the bedroom?
Bicep, Love Comedown. This edit brings the funk. Not sure how seductive my dancing is though…

Sleep is always the hardest to come by when you need it the most. What track is guaranteed to bring on the shut eye after a heavy weekend?
Bruised Skies & Frenchfire Make Me Feel. Full of feels. Love the use of strings in the production.

What track makes you want to cuddle up to the one you love?
Can I pick Bon Iver twice? I’m going to anyway. Bon Iver Holocene – I’ve never got to see Bon Iver live, but there’s a few videos of the band playing this track live at Coliseu Do Porto, and this track in particular sounded unreal.

What song gets you out of bed in the morning?
Sampha Can’t Get Close. I’m convinced this track is the exact audio equivalent of a sunrise. It’s impossible to wake up in a bad mood to this song, his whole Dual EP is stunning.

What is the most relaxing track/ mix/ playlist in your collection? And what do you like to do when listening to it?
Maribou State Portraits. This whole album has been on repeat for most of the summer. ‘Steal’ and ‘Say More’ are my favourite tracks off the record, and are perfect for soundtracking a long drive late at night.

Finish the sentence, the music sounds better with...
    Pizza.
