Another year, another 8000 hours of your life spent scrolling through the never-ending, addictive drug that is the internet. You better have learnt something! But if you haven’t, don’t fret, Tumblr’s Year in Review has condensed all it’s most reblogged, ♥’d and noted posts, into bite-sized sections, so if you’ve been living under a rock for 2014, you can get your fix of the models, bands, films, web celebs, reality stars, internet stars, GIFs, memes and ice bucket challenges that went viral.
It was definitely the year of the Kardashian’s as Kim, Kylie, Khloe, Kourtney, Scott and Kris come in respectively as first, second, third, fourth, sixth and seventh in Tumblr’s most reblogged reality stars (Nicole Richie snuck in at No. 5), with Kendall Jenner topping the most reblogged models list. Her new i-D cover star BFF, Cara Delevingne pulled in a close second and our latest Model Mother Tongue muse Barbara Palvin comes in at No. 6. Check out their top 20 models here. Meanwhile, over on the other side – hinting at Tumblr’s general demographic – boybands, 5 Seconds of Summer and One Direction topped the most ♥’d bands list, and even though he may have retired last year, Hayao Miyazaki is still ruling the web with these GIFs of Princess Mononoke:
