Following her husband Kanye’s initiation into the fall/winter 16 #BALMAINARMY, Kim Kardashian West now has two opulent ads of her own. Olivier Rousteing shared the images on Instagram this morning, accompanied by a few of his favorite hashtags. #wewillalwaysremember first appeared on a photo of KimYe with Jourdan Dunn and Cindy Crawford at the 2016 Met Gala, and the gladiator-like silver gown Kim wears in the campaign is the same one she first wore on the red carpet back in May. Kanye also repeated the ripped denim and heavily embellished jacket he wore to the glitzy event in his own campaign shot.
This isn’t the first time KimYe has modeled for the French fashion house. In 2014 Kim and Kanye shared a kiss for Balmain’s spring/summer 15 menswear campaign, photographed by Mario Sorrenti. The new set of ads were photographed by Steven Klein and art directed by Pascal Dangin, who called the concept a “music fashion fusion.” Seeing as Kanye is the only musician in the brand’s model-heavy army, there are probably a few more surprises still to come.
