Last week saw Christopher Kane join Nicholas Kirkwood, Marc Jacobs and many more on Mayfair’s Mount Street, and now jewellery designer Delfina Delettrez has joined the gang with her new boutique. Last night’s opening saw fashion and culture heavyweights turn out in support. There was W Magazine’s Stefano Tonchi, architect extraordinaire Zaha Hadid, milliner Stephen Jones and Vogue’s Suzy Menkes, plus other members of the Fendi family and a plethora of models. They celebrated with a toast in her boutique at 109 Mount Street, followed by an intimate dinner developed by Margot Henderson (with wine from the Fendi vineyard) and held at Marian Goodman Gallery. Delettrez worked on the store with Rafael de Cárdenas of Architecture at Large and has put together the new issue of A Magazine Curated By with contributions from Karl Lagerfeld, Daniel Sannwald and Matthew Stone.
