Halleloo — America’s Next Top Model is coming back, but with a Drag Race-themed twist that’s gonna make it better than ever. The Tyra Banks fronted juggernaut returns in 2018, after 23 cycles, 12 years, and one Rita Ora guest hosted season, and will feature a crossover episode featuring some of the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race, who, let’s face it, know how to work a pose better than some of the ANTM contestants.

The crossover episode will star fan favourites Katya, Valentina and Manila Luzon, who will be paired with contestants. “They’re so friggin’ gorgeous and can pose their asses off,” Tyra told Entertainment Weekly. “Not all of my models prevailed. Valentina killed it. I’m sitting there editing film and I’m like, can I get a shot of my girls looking at least half as good as Valentina?”

What better union than the show who taught us to smize and the show that allowed straight people to shamelessly culturally appropriate the iconic phrases of Paris Is Burning? Werk, hunty. Seriously though, America’s Next Top Model and Drag Race are practically a match made in heaven. Drag Race Season Three winner even worked on ANTM as a make-up artist for many years, and performed as Tyra in the show’s Snatch Game (complete with bleeding eyes from too much smizing).

The drag twist isn’t the only modern addition to the new cycle of America’s Next Top Model either. This time, the show will eliminate the age limit on contestants, featuring models in their 40s. There’s even one who’s a grandparent. Tyra explained that the change was to embrace acceptance of different types of beauty.

So, does this mean Tyra will at long last be a host on the Series 10 of Drag Race? Please?
