Get your mind in the sweat zone, because Beyoncé’s Ivy Park activewear line is dropping in just two days — and now we have the complete lookbook for the the highly anticipated range created in partnership with Topshop’s Sir Philip Green. As she promised in the teaser video dropped two weeks ago, body suits and grey sweats abound, plus a few exciting technical pieces that drive home Bey’s vision of the hive repping Ivy Park during every hour of the day. Model Malaika Firth, aka the first black model in almost 20 years to score a Prada campaign, wears a sheer white bomber in a honeycomb pattern too perfect to be a coincidence.
“My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance,” Beyoncé said of her new line. “True beauty is in the health of our minds, hearts, and bodies. I know that when I feel physically strong, I am mentally strong and I wanted to create a brand that made other women feel the same way.”
The full spring/summer 16 collection will arrive on April 14 at stores including Topshop, Net-a-Porter, and Selfridges. Does this mean Beyoncé’s sixth studio album and possible short film will drop on the same date? If so, we’re declaring next April 14 a public holiday.
