Book clubs are back with a vengeance. Emma Watson has one, Lena Dunham sort of has one, and Oprah definitely has one. Now late fashion legend Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel is about to host the most glamorous book club ever. The Woman Who Reads is an exhibition opening at The Ca’ Pesaro International Gallery of Modern Art in Venice this September, reports WWD, as part of the Culture Chanel series of events exploring the creative world of Chanel’s iconic founder. And while you won’t actually be able to curl up on a sofa in the Baroque marble palace reading Coco’s own copy of Euripides’ Medea, there’s nothing to stop you from taking notes.

“From Greek authors to modern poets, Gabrielle Chanel’s abundant library reveals the works that left an impression on her life and shaped her personality,” Chanel said about the exhibition. “The relationships Mademoiselle Chanel maintained throughout her life with some of the greatest creative minds of her time were crucial. Her friendships, conversations, and exchanges went on to provide sustenance for her thoughts and her own creations.”

The Culture Chanel series is masterminded by French art director Jean-Louis Froment. Previous installments include The Senses of Places in Seoul, and an exhibition in Guangzhou’s Zaha Hadid-designed opera house that included Pablo Picasso’s stage backdrop for the 1924 ballet Le Train Bleu. This latest leg of the creative journey will take place in Venice between September 17 and January 8.
