My dudes, time is flying and WHP x i-D presents: SOUNDS OF THE NEAR FUTURE is almost upon us. Yep, this Saturday 8 December we’ll be taking over Manchester’s iconic Store Street venue with a killer line-up to liven up your dull, dull winter.
We dragged Pusha T away from his new Scalextric set long enough to secure him to headline proceedings, so there’s that to look forward to. Then in supporting roles, we’ve got the crème de la crème of new British rap including young musical genius slowthai, Flohio, AJ Tracey and Skengdo x AM. New Jersey’s Clams Casino will also be making an appearance, as well as Frank Ocean’s producer pal Vegyn, Radio 1 DJ Tiffany Calver and loads, loads more.
Wow. Who can even imagine how great that’s going to sound? Well, thanks to this hit list of total bangers, you don’t have to try very hard. Stick this on repeat for the next few days. The Warehouse Project have also offered i-D readers cheaper tickets if you buy through this link so be quick and we’ll see you down the front, okay? And yeah, you read right… there may or may not be some official and very limited edition merch to commemorate this momentous occasion.
So you can say “I went to i-D’s party in Manchester with Pusha T and all I got was this amazing piece of merch”, basically.
