For those of you who aren’t familiar, by:Larm is the SXSW of Scandinavia, Norway’s answer to The Great Escape and a seriously good city festival. Taking over Oslo between 1-3 March, the music conference boasts lectures from the likes of Cosey Fanni Tutti, while a festival line-up including i-D favourites Billie Eilish, Fanny Anderson, Reykjavikurdaetur, SASSY009, Rina Sawayama, Kedr Livanskiy and Rytmeklubben has us all excited.
Getting us more excited still, is the fact that for the very first (but hopefully not the last) year, i-D will be setting up camp at riverside venue Blaa to host a night of ice cool performances from local artists Carmen Villain and Das Body; Copenhagen techno producer and DJ, Courtesy; the very well-named Norwegian band WHALESHARKATTACKS; and intense genre-splicing US artist and collaborator of our dear friend Mykki Blanco, Warp Records’ Yves Tumor.
