Beyoncé’s mysterious new film album is getting more intriguing by the minute. As buzz builds about what has been tentatively titled Project Lemonade, Beyoncé fan account The Beyhive reports that at least one of the videos will pick up where the fiercely important socio-political statement of “Formation” left off. The stars of the new visual will be the parents of police brutality victims Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, and Mike Brown, who were recently photographed with Beyoncé and Jay-Z. They will hold up photographs of their sons, according to the quite reputable source.

This isn’t a hugely unexpected move for Beyoncé. Since dropping the powerful “Formation” she has used her Super Bowl halftime slot to bring attention to Black Lives Matter, bailed Baltimore protestors out of prison, and started a fund to bring aid to the residents of Flint, Michigan. Over the last three years she has also attended peace rallies and met with the families of Martin and Freddie Gray, as The Beyhive notes. Good to see Beyoncé clearly has no intention of indulging white America’s misguided criticisms of her timely message.
