Takashi Murakami reimagines traditional Japanese art in new London exhibition. Open at London’s Gagosian, Japanese Art History à la Takashi Murakami will show several of the artist’s reinterpretations of Japanese historical paintings. Expect his iconic flower figures being imposed onto a 17th century map of Tokyo, an anime-meets-pop-art revision of a geisha and more. It runs from 10 December until 8 March.
